A few weeks from now we are going to have some fantastic music at the Juniper with Marshall Lawrence joining us on February 25th and 26th as we host our first Bison & Blues Winery weekend.

About a year ago I met Marshall on twitter and we started tweeting back and forth about a potential event at the hotel. I couldn't find the right fit until I had an epiphany while buying some bison at the Calgary Farmers Market. Bison + Blues.... it all made sense. Marshall was so approachable it seemed like a great fit for the hotel.

Next week kicks off the annual Exposure 2011 Arts Festival in Calgary, Canmore and Banff. Local Whyte Museum Curator Craig Richards was up today at the hotel hanging the new "Through the Lens" Exhibition in several public areas of the hotel.

Make sure to come by the Juniper Hotel next Friday February 4th for the Festival Photographers Showcase from 7 - 9 pm and learn about the different presenters and their works.
